There are moments in life when nothing seems to be working for you. You try a business; it fails. You apply for jobs; no one picks you. You apply for a place in a university; every time you’re turned down and so on. This is no strange news. The world paints a picture of gloom to you so that you should give up. But the greatest mistake you can do is to give up on life while you’re still alive.

Have you been praying and fasting and God seems not to be there? Praising God is another way of attracting Him to be involved in your affairs. This is what the opening verse reveals to us.
The word ‘inhabitest’ means ‘to sit on the throne as a judge’. Thus, the throne of God comes down when we praise Him. Such a throne comes down with judgements to condemn everything that’s inconsistent with His will for your life. No wonder sicknesses, diseases, pain, poverty, failure, weakness et cetera bow down during times of praise.
God becomes jealousy of anything that you praise Him for. Hence praise Him, in advance, for that new job, for the success of your business, for your healing and for being enrolled into that prestigious university. If you do, He’ll come as a Mighty Warrior to defeat your enemies and grant your heart’s desires.
PRAYER
Thank You Lord for opening my eyes to this subject of praise. I now know that praise is one of the arsenals for my unending victories in You. I’ll praise You therefore, on a daily basis regardless of the circumstances I’ll pass through. In Jesus Mighty Name. AMEN.
