You Are Responsible for Your Destiny WITH APOSTLE JOSEPH ZIBA
”What man is he that feareth the Lord? Him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.” Psalms 25:12 (KJV)
Quite a good number of people think that it’s all about God when it comes to the realization of their divine destiny. But that is a wrong mentality since God expects you to do your part as well after He has done His part of the ‘deal’— that is showing you your destiny.
God doesn’t treat His children like robots. He doesn’t simply command and tell them what to do. He, rather, gives them power to choose what they want their destiny to be like. This is what is referred to as the preferred destiny.
Our opening verse above clearly stipulates that it is the man, and not necessarily God, who is choosing the way or course of life he wants to take. God is simply teaching, instructing, showing or imparting knowledge of the destination to the man. In other words, God shows man or gives him or her an idea of their divine destination. It is up to the man to decide whether they will get there or not.
You see, choices we make differentiate us. For instance, a pastor may be teaching the same message to the congregation but what people are going to become from that message will be determined by the choices that people will make.
You know what this tells you? If you will end up an average Christian the blame shouldn’t be put on God but on your choices.
Jesus, for one, was a product of His choices. He lived an extraordinary life here on earth not necessarily because of the greater things God showed Him but because of the actions he took towards what God showed Him. He plainly professed, “The Son can DO nothing of himself, but what he SEETH the Father do…” (John 5:19).
When God starts showing you something, He’s telling you what you can do. Yes, it’s up to you to choose the best from what God has shown you. It’s high time you stopped only gazing on the revelations of your destiny; choose to step into it now!
PRAYER
Dear Precious Father, I appreciate so much for You’ve shed your light into my heart concerning my responsibility towards my destiny. Every time You tell me or show something in Your Word, I will be apt to respond for that’s the direction You want me to go. Your Word is light unto my path— it shows me the steps to take in order to get to my divine destiny. Amen!
