Your Protection is Guaranteed – Monday, 18th May, 2020
”No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.” Isaiah 54:17 (KJV)
Many people quote the opening Scripture above when they want to declare God’s protection over their lives and for their loved ones;of which it’s a good thing. But I discovered that they lack the basis for their declaration– they quote the verse out of context and without proper comprehension. Why should any weapon formed against you fail to prosper?
For you to fully enjoy that verse, you need to study the entire chapter of Isaiah 54. However, for this study we will only focus on verse 16 and 17. The Bible says, “Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.” (Verse 16).
In other words, God firstly announces to His children that He is the one who created your enemies. He created Lucifer and his cohorts who bring all sorts of calamities and evils into the world. God says He is the one who created the viruses, the bacteria, the fungi and other micro-organisms that cause various diseases. Secondly, He declares that He created the waster to destroy those enemies. Simply put: for every enemy that you have—whatever it is—God created the destroyer (the waster) for that particular enemy.

No wonder, the first part of verse 17 above says, ”No weapon formed against thee shall prosper….”. Why? Because all your enemies are a done deal in the mind of justice of God. So, you see, your protection is guaranteed. Glory to God!
CONFESSION
I am a beloved child of the most High God, Creator of the heaven and the earth. There’s no disease, poverty or demon that is big enough to overcome me. I am so secure in my coming in and in my going out. My family is protected, my property is protected, my business is protected, and my job is protected. Indeed, no weapon formed against me shall prosper and my protection is guaranteed, in the Mighty and Glorious name of Jesus. AMEN!
