Mature to Sonship – Monday, 2nd March 2020
”Now I say, that the heir, as long as he is a child, differs nothing from a servant though he be lord of all.” Galatians 4:1 KJV
There is a lot of confusion among Christians today between the words a “child” and a “son”. The word “son” speaks of someone who is mature or fully grown. When one becomes born again (believes and confesses Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior) they become a child of God first before they mature to a son.
Immaturity will disqualify you from being trusted with precious things of God.

The opening scripture tells us about a child who hasn’t yet matured and says that he is not different from a servant. In God, inheritance is about maturity. He will not trust you with certain things unless you are matured. Immaturity will disqualify you from being trusted with precious things of God. But when you mature, He trusts you with such precious things.
Children of God who do not mature to sons have a small world because everything said about a son is never for them until they mature to sons.
When you mature to a son now, know that everytime Jesus changes His statement from Himself to “Son” He means each and everyone that will become a son, what He has said applies to them (Hebrews 1:3).
PRAYER
Sweet Father, I commit myself to the studying of your Word and to Your instructions that come through Your anointed ministers of the Word. I know that through such you mature me into Your Son with the working of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus name. Amen
