“And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it”. Matthew 16:18(KJV)
Throughout generations, the Church has proven to be waxing stronger and greater and from glory to glory despite many persecutions and oppositions schemed by the devil. The Church is indestructible and unstoppable and will continue exhibiting those qualities forever and ever because the Lord Jesus meant business when He said, “….and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it”.
Your real protection is in the Church. That’s why you don’t have to make a mistake of missing church services.

The word “Gates” in the opening Scripture above is symbolic and it signifies places where the devil and his cohorts meet to deliberate on their moves for destruction. They are places of dominion and power of Lucifer. Thus put in other words, the last part of that verse can read, “… and the places of dominion and power of the devil shall not prevail against it [the church].”
If you are born again, you belong to the Church. For that cause, you are indestructible and no disease, sickness or any pestilence can attack you. You see, your real protection is in the Church. That’s why you don’t have to make a mistake of missing church services.
CONFESSION
I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ. I have the life of God in me—an indestructible and disease destroying life. No weapon formed against me can prosper and nothing that is orchestrated by gates of hell can succeed on my life. In Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
