The bible in Proverbs 24 verse 10 says that “If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.” Which is showing us two things, that you can have little strength and the danger of having little strength.
In the citation above, the bible shows that when your strength is little, you cannot stand in the time of distress and trouble, in the moment when the strength is needed.
In so many places in the bible, we are called to be strong because we are in a fight. Had it been we are not in the battlefield, there will be no need to be strong but because the enemy likes to cause trouble.
You must understand that the enemy has no respect whether you are aware, conscious of what he is doing or not, when he wants to cause trouble, he goes for anything.

Jesus in speaking about the strength in Luke 11 verses 21 and 23, He said that a strong man, talking of the devil is at peace and his goods until someone stronger than him appears, showing us the need to be strong enough to overcome the enemy.
As a child of God, you are strengthened by the Spirit of God in you. You are not weak, there is inner strength in you. The only time you become weak is when you move from your place as a Child of God and you operate by your own, in that state, you lack strength.
When you move from your place as a Child of God, you become prone and weak, this is where the enemy finds it easy to attack you. Sometimes, it is when you provide yourself to weakness by doing or saying contrary things.
You are STRONG in the Lord by His Spirit and in the power of His Might.
