Be Joyful Always; No Matter What – Apostle Joseph Ziba
“Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10 KJV
Life will sometimes throw challenges to you. Don’t ever think that it’ll always be rosy. But thanks be unto God who always ministers joy as a weapon to keep you going during obnoxious times.
Having known the power of joy, the devil loves to affect your joy. He throws hard punches and brings all sorts of unpleasant situations so that he can torture and bring pain to your life. Don’t allow him to affect your joy!
The opening verse above says: ”…for the joy of the Lord is your strength”. This means that the joy of God is what sustains and safeguards your heart in turbulent times. It is impossible for the devil to attack your life or bring sorrow when you are full of joy since joy and sorrow can’t dwell together.
As for me, I chose long ago to be joyful always. Actually, there’s no bad situation that’s big enough to steal the joy of the Lord in my spirit. I allow the Spirit of the Lord to minister joy to me and I keep winning all the way. May this become your life!
CONFESSION
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for making Your abode in me. The Holy Spirit always ministers joy to me. I can’t be sorrowful. There’s nothing that can drain the rivers of joy in my spirit. I always rejoice with joy unspeakable and I’m full of God’s glory. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen!
