It’s so awesome to know that as Christians we can communicate with the Lord through prayer and have His full attention (1 Peter 3:12). However to some, prayer is a painful and laborious experience. Such people have a problem with prayer because they do it as religious routine or as a way of asking something from God.
Prayer shouldn’t be a religious tradition but a moment of friendly conversations with God. It should be a moment of communion of heavenly bliss. God wants conversations with you—He desires to talk with you as one talks with a friend. He desires that you should talk with Him like you do with your physical fathers.

That’s how He did it with Moses in the Old Testament and He needs the same to continue with you. No wonder, He called you into the fellowship of His Son Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 1:9). He summoned you to oneness with Him, to the family relationship and to the unity of the Spirit. He made you an associate of the God-kind to relate with Him as a friend.
PRAYER
Thank You dear Father for calling me into the glorious fellowship of Your dear Son, Jesus Christ. You’ve made me Your friend, as such each and every time that I pray, I will be conscious of that family relationship. I believe that with this knowledge my prayer life will move from glory to glory. In the Name of Jesus. Amen!
