The day you got born again, you were given a special kind of life by God. In fact, your human life was supplanted by the life of God (Zoe in Greek). That life is full of joy, good health, prosperity, excellence, favor and so on.
Your salvation isn’t merely a ticket to heaven. If it were so, you would go straight to heaven the moment you believed and confessed Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. But God left you here for a show. He wants you to display His excellencies, goodness, grace, favor, to the world. You’re here to live and enjoy God’s life.
The fact that you sometimes get sick doesn’t mean that it’s okay to fall sick. Don’t live in the comfort of the devil’s lies.

That’s why Jesus in the opening verse didn’t miss words when disclosing God’s will towards us. He said, “I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows). Having known this truth, don’t accept to live a lesser life than what Jesus offered.
The fact that you sometimes get sick doesn’t mean that it’s okay to fall sick; the fact that you lack basic needs doesn’t mean it’s normal to lack in life. The fact that you have failed in your academics, business, career or family, doesn’t mean that it’s alright to fail. Don’t live in the comfort of the devil’s lies. If anything is inconsistent with the provisions of God in His Word, refuse it in the name of Jesus!
PRAYER
Dear Lord, thank You so much for the gift of salvation and for granting me Your very life. I know I am designed to have and enjoy life. Therefore, I won’t accept anything that’s contrary to Your Word. I consider every negative thing as a lie of the devil, in Jesus name. Amen.
