Grow the Word in You – Monday, 27th April, 2020
“So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed” Acts 19:20 (KJV)
When the word of God seems not to be working for you, do not create a false theology about it. Do not assume that sometimes it works and sometimes not since the word of God always works. When it seems not to have worked in a particular area such as in your health, family, career, and finances and so on, it means that it hasn’t grown enough in that particular area. Therefore, you must grow it so that it should prevail.

The word ‘prevailed’ in the opening Scripture means ‘became forceful’. Therefore, the verse would read “…So mightily grew the word of God and became forceful”. In other words, the Word of God grew and became a working Word that produced visible results in the lives of people in the City of Ephesus.
How do you grow the Word? One of the ways is frequently meditating and confessing the word of God in a particular area. God instructed Joshua to meditate on the Book of the Law and put it on his lips day and night so that He should have success in all areas of his life. That was the secret to Joshua’s success. (Joshua 1:8).
What areas do you want progress in your life? What situations would you like to change? Are you afraid of COVID-19? Simply grow the Word in you and you will live the overcoming life.
PRAYER
Dear Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, thank You for the precious gift of the Bible. I truly desire progress in all areas of my life, therefore, I commit myself to the studying, meditating and confessing of Your Word for that’s the secret for harnessing the power of the Word that always prevails. AMEN!
