At a certain night, an honourable man named Nicodemus went to Jesus with one intention to know how He does His things. This man was a ruler of the Jews, he was no ordinary man and to reach a point to go and ask these things, it expresses that he had tried his part.
One thing you will admire about Jesus is His responses, He is always conscious of what He is saying. He answered the man that “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God”. Which is to tell us that what Jesus was doing are the things of the kingdom because He told the man how to see the Kingdom.
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
1 Peter 1:23 (KJV)
The other thing highlighted is the being Born Again is the key to see the Kingdom. If you are not born again, you cannot see or experience the kingdom.
When Apostle Peter was commenting about what happened when we got born again, he said that it is not being born of any material but of the incorruptible seed of the Word of God which lives and abides forever, telling us that what happened to us when we got Born again is a transformation that can neither be scientifically, biologically or physically explained, it was a change of nature to the nature of the Word of God.
Being Born Again makes you be born into the family of God, you become a child of God. You place yourself at a place called Christ where you are no ordinary man, you are above.
You are not just any man, you are a BORN AGAIN, born of the Word and the Spirit of God.
