The way the world is structured, it is formatted in a way that a child of God should not enjoy. It is in a state that as a child of God you cannot walk in the comfort you desire. So many things that speak, behave, and operate contrary to the voice, wisdom and understanding you carry as a child of God.
Jesus knew this and made sure He addresses it before time. He had this to say “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33).
Jesus knew that what would give you comfort, and consolation is a position and a place you will be as a Child of God. He specified that “In me” a specific place, not anywhere but in Him is where you will have PEACE.
It is not about what someone is doing or what the circumstances around you are, but one thing that is definite in Christ Jesus is the PEACE
The Sarmblog
This peace originates from Christ Jesus because He has overcome the world. This is the only peace that you need because it is above the issues and circumstances of the world.
One thing that you should be in check is that the world also gives peace, but this peace is just temporal and conditional. This is why Jesus said that “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.” (John 14:27).
Jesus had to specify that it is His peace not what the world gives. Sometimes you might feel like it is okay when what you are leaning on is the peace that the world has given you, the comfort that the world is giving you. Anything that the world gives is just a matter of time, it is temporal, everlasting things are found in Christ Jesus, and this peace is eternal.
It is not about what someone is doing or what the circumstances around you are, but one thing that is definite in Christ Jesus is the PEACE amidst all such. This is why Jesus was able to sleep in the middle of the storm because the man is peace Himself.
You have PEACE and this is not just a say, but it is in you.
