Mentors: Ladders to Your Glorious Destiny With Apostle Joseph Ziba
”He that walketh with the wise men shall be wise.” Proverbs 13:20 KJV
You can’t reach your God-given destiny alone. There are some people whom God specifically calls to teach you, guide you and give you direction to your destiny. I call such “Mentors of Life”.
Take note that mentors of life, I am referring to here, are not merely natural men who can affect your mind with their inspiration talks. I am talking of men whom God has filled with his Spirit to affect your spirit (the real you) with their wisdom and conduct. When you notice such men, mark them and ardently follow them and greatness will be automatically rubbed on you. This is what the opening verse signifies: you become wise by walking with the wise.

Several Scriptures point to us the power of mentorship. For instance, King Solomon had his father King David for a mentor, King David had his uncle Jonathan for a mentor. Israel had Abraham as their father and mentor of whom the Bible records that if the Israelites would follow his footsteps, they would inherit his blessing and partake of his greatness (Isaiah 51:2).
It’s wise to learn from the masters. It’s advisable to learn from those that have gone ahead of you. Be humble and learn from others; you will become great.
PRAYER
Precious Father, thank you for opening my eyes to the power of mentorship. Give me a teachable spirit so that I can learn from others. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
