Reading the bible you will see that how God works and operates is so different from how we expect Him to.
In Numbers 21, the children of Israel faced with fiery serpents that were biting and killing people, when they cried out to the Lord, God told Moses to make a brazen and set it on high that whoever is bitten should look up to it and live. The easiest could have been stopping the serpents, changing the surrounding but the Lord is saying that the situation will remain the same, I will just change you.
Sometimes the way God answers our prayer is not by changing what is around us, but by changing us so that we can cope.

That is where many of us we fight with God. It is not like He has not answered our cry but possibly the way He has answered is not how we want it to be done.
Sometimes the way God answers our prayer is not by changing what is around us, but by changing us so that we can cope. Answered prayer is staring us in the face, and we can’t see it.
A friend of mine told me of a story about a group of people who came every week to pray for revival on the second floor of an auditorium, not realizing that down on the ground floor, at the same time, seven hundred people were coming to pray and worship every week. Revival had already broken out! Those who prayed upstairs were too blinkered to see what God was doing down below!
May your eyes open for you to not miss when your answer is already released.
