Thanksgiving: Your Wisdom for Attracting God – Monday, 10th August, 2020
“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.” Psalms 100:4 KJV
God requires us to thank Him always and in all circumstances. The Bible declares, ”Thank [God] in everything [no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks], for this is the will of God for you [who are] in Christ Jesus [the Revealer and Mediator of that will].” (1 Thessalonians 5:18 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition, AMPC). Why is this important?
The opening verse says, ”Enter into his gates with thanksgiving….”. This signifies that thanksgiving is a means to accessing God’s presence. It further entails that every time you thank God for something, you attract His ‘active’ presence into the matter such that it ceases to be your business but His.
Whether you are in the valley right now or you are on the mountain top, let thanksgiving to God be your lifestyle.

Dear Heavenly Father, I appreciate the wisdom You’ve granted to me today. No matter what the circumstances I face may be, thanksgiving will be my lifestyle all the days of my life. In the Glorious Name of Jesus. Amen.
