The Word Always Works – Apostle Joseph Ziba
For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which ye hear of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you. 1 Thessalonians 2:13 KJV
In the opening Scripture above the word “worketh” means “active” or “powerful”. This means that every time you study or sit under the preaching of God’s word something happens with you: there is an effective activity by the working of God’s word. There’s a shaping or a changing of your life or a turning around of situations during such glorious moments. So, don’t deny yourself from the ministry of God’s Word.
This means that you can change any undesirable situation in your life by first taking the word of God (associated with that situation) into your spirit and then speaking forth or confessing those words of power to that circumstance.
Are you poor? Do you have cancer, HIV/AIDS or any other illness or disease? Are you mentally retarded? Is your business or career stagnant? You have the keys in your hands: bury yourself into the study or preaching of God’s word regarding your situation and confess it. As you do, your circumstance will definitely change because the word of God always works.
CONFESSION
I am a lover of God’s Word. Nothing can challenge me. I use God’s Word as a sword to fight battles and it always works, hence I move from victory to victory in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
