Victory over Death through the Gospel – Monday, 27th July, 2020
“…But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.” 2 Timothy 1:10
It’s sad to see death, a law that brings corruption and cessation of things, taking its toll on the Children of God. Manifested through poverty, joblessness, failure, demonic attacks, fear, persistent sicknesses and diseases et cetera, death seems to rule over some of the children of the Light. But this ought not to be so.
The opening verse presents a principal truth that must be embraced. It says the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ has eradicated death and has brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel. In other words, through the Good News, Jesus Christ has brought vitality and a life of no death to everyone that believes in the Gospel.
Believers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ are dubbed born again and are birthed by the Word of the Lord which lives and abides forever

Believers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ are dubbed born again and are birthed by the Word of the Lord which lives and abides forever (Isaiah 40:8 and 1 Peter 1:23-25). Thus, they also live forever and they don’t experience death in any area of their lives.
CONFESSION
Father in the mighty Name of Jesus, thank You so much because I am born again. I am born of the incorruptible seed of the Word which lives and abides forever. I can’t simply die because I have the life of God in me. I can’t experience death in any area because life and vitality is my portion. Hallelujah!
