Work: the Platform for God’s Manifestation – Apostle Joseph Ziba
And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. Genesis 2:5 KJV
Genesis chapter one gives an account of creation. It discusses how God created the heavens and the earth and things contained therein. Amazingly, you’ll notice that what God created didn’t exist on the earth—everything God created only manifested in the spiritual realm. This is what’s stipulated in the first part of the opening verse above. Why was that the case?
The Bible says because ”…the LORD God had not caused it to rain…. and that THERE WAS NO MAN TO TILL THE GROUND.”
The phrase ‘to till’ in this verse means ‘to work’ or ‘to labor’. Thus, what God created couldn’t manifest on earth since there was no man to work or labor.
You see, work to a child of God is not only about making money but a platform for God’s manifestation. Work is a dais where God uses to manifest his grace, blessings and anointing on your life. This means that if you don’t find work, you are denied from manifesting God in any area.
That’s why you shouldn’t allow the devil to deny you from working. As a child of God you shouldn’t find yourself idle. You must get employment, start a business or start schooling et cetera; and work hard in it. If you do that you’ll trigger the blessings, grace, favor and anointing of God to come your way.
PRAYER
Dear Father, in the Mighty name of Jesus, thank You for the wisdom from Your Word. You’ve opened my eyes and from today onwards, I won’t be idle or be lazy in my work. I’ll work hard in my daily endeavors bearing in mind that work is a platform for Your manifestation. Amen.
