Yield Yourself to God’s Word – Monday, 7th February, 2022
”…and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.” James 1:21 KJV
The Word of God that you do not understand cannot profit you and the devil can easily snatch it away from you. The only Word that produces results in your life is the one which you have understood.
Some of you have been hearing God’s Word for some time but nothing seems to work in accordance to that Word. You have heard it, confessed it and quoted scriptures to no avail. Understanding is all you need at this point.
God respects the will of man. As such, He cannot impose His Word on you.
Seeds of Victory – 7 February, 2022
The opening verse says that the Word that is able to “save your souls” is the one that has been engrafted. It is the Word of God that you have intentionally allowed to ‘enter’ into your spirit— the one that you have yielded to— and has mingled with your spirit that is able to produce results in your life. We call that ‘encountering the Word’.
God respects the will of man. As such, He cannot impose His Word on you. You, therefore, need to meekly and gladly receive the Word and regard it as a final authority over your life and it will yield results beyond what you can possibly imagine.
PRAYER
Thank You, Father, for the light of Your Word. You have revealed to me that I should not just be hearing Your Word but that I should aim to encounter it. Therefore, I am giving myself away; may I encounter Your Word every time that I hear it in. in Jesus name.
